Field Trips
Macdonald High School offers students a variety of opportunities to travel the world with their peers.
In grades 7 & 8, students have the opportunity to visit Toronto and Boston. Highlights include Ripley's Aquarium, the CN Tower, Canada's Wonderland, Niagara's Falls, the Ontario Science Center, Fenway Park, Plymouth, Quincy Market, Freedom Trail and much more.
In grades 9 & 10, students have the opportunity to visit New York, Washington and Philadelphia. Highlights include the Statue of Liberty, Top of the Rock, Broadway, the American Museum of Natural History, Yankee Stadium, White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery, Rocky Steps, Liberty Bell and much more.
Each fall, Grade 10 and 11 students have the opportunity to see three theatre productions at the Stratford Theatre Festival. Apart from seeing world class plays, Mac students get multiple behind-the-scenes experiences, and get to explore the beautiful town on Stratford, Ontario.
In grade 11, grads have the opportunity to ring in the new year at Disney World, on a trip to Florida. Highlights include the beach, Habs game, The Everglades, Universal Studios, Outlet Shopping and much more.
