The Mac Guidance Team offers many services around the school. We lead the registration and orientation of new students. We offer counselling services, as well as academic and vocational guidance. The Guidance Team works hand in hand with teachers and administrators to help students achieve academic success, and support the social development of the students. We also act as a liaison between the school and community-based partners who specialize in health and social services.

The Mac Guidance team strives to create a safe and caring environment where students receive timely and respectful intervention in a period of crisis, as well as ongoing support throughout their time at Macdonald High School. The Guidance Team is available for consultation with students, staff, and parents on a daily basis.
